Assistance and prevention at burns = Fénix Endowment Fund

Do you or someone of your relatives have burns? Need professional help? Contact us! Just burns and their consequences are the main activities of our Foundation. Fénix Endowment Fund will provide assistance, technical advice, necessary contacts, and funding – all in the case of burns and their treatment.

Helping at burns

Helping at burns depends on the type and degree of the burns. The main rule is to help extinguish the fire, cooling and removal of burned clothing places where it can be. At burns a development of shock and infection can occur. The extent and severity of the burns, please, do consult with your General Practitioner!

10 basis points preventing burns

Do you have small children?

• Do not use tablecloths and do not cook on further hot plates
• Do not place hot dishes with content on the edge of the table
• Hide matches and as soon as possible, explain the issue to your children
• Pay special attention to the hot oil – even in the pan fryer
• Use electrical plug sockets

You do not have kids … even adults are under the risk of burns!

• Gas fill in only at cold engine
• Do not smoke in bed
• Do not place microwave in heights, thereby increasing the risk of injury
• Never come back into the burning house, no matter is not more valuable than your health
• Be careful with fire – the burns often occur when drinking around the campfire …
